Ruskin Hotel, East Ham

Project: Hotels & Pub & Commercial Unit

Size: 3,335 m²

Location: London, Newham

Client: Private

The Ruskin Arms in East Ham has been an established home of heavy metal, being a popular destination on the rock scene (the Faces and Iron Maiden). The project comprised of restructuring the rapidly deteriorating building into a medium sized hotel with an enlarged full size lower ground floor  venue, whilst the existing main building along the High Street has been painstakingly restored to its former glory.

The side and rear extensions are new-build, including an Agenda 21 designed and manufactured system for volumetric prefabricated  bedrooms modules installed in just four days.

The project was completed in 2015. Planning permission for an extension with 22 rooms was granted in 2020.
